what the loser had to say, is history written. So we are heavily influenced by that we are
influenced by the other part, which is the social structure that goes along with that, of which we
exist right now. And that is the human society. And you have to begin to think, and I'm pushing
you again into a different overview.
Bob Monroe 37:29
We use terms often that are misnomers. And when we become civilized, what does that
mean? That means that some one, some were some group whatever sets up a pattern of laws,
and enforces them and that's what we call civilizing. Somebody is forcing them to obey certain
laws, not it's an external force and influences you understand, it isn't something that generates
from the inside. Granted, some of these look like they're generated from the outside aren't are
of great benefit to people. But that's the way laws are, that they are, they have sometimes what
seems to be a very noble purpose. But if you have to force a consciousness to do something,
by threats of reprisal as it were, if they don't do it, that doesn't seem very civilized, if you think
about it, can you follow? The idea would be, of course, that there would be no laws, because
laws with such laws would not be necessary. But you can't have that as long as you have
humans can you conceive. So let's take the basic one of what you are. And by this night at
time, you certainly are beginning to recognize if you're a little bit more than your physical body,
right? That's a strong possibility, isn't it? Now, think of this, that if you want to really know what
you influence, whom you influence, and who influences you, then take a piece paper and put a
dot and that's where you exist, your home base is or we're making a difference. And then put a
dot out here for everyone that you think of even intermittently, all the way around, and who
intermittently thinks of you, and you connect that dots around and that's what I call your
periphery of personality. That's what you really are not this skin in case thing. But what you
radiate and what radiation comes back to you and does influence you and you influencing
others. This is why I kind of had my problems and taking the position that I am a friend Not a
disseminator. And it sounds like I'm doing it but I quickly haze and say, do it yourself. But this
is so important that you understand the scope of what you are. And this influence of metal
radiation is so very important and you can i everyone on you must in your lifetimes, I've had
demonstrations of the effect of and you're thinking about someone and the phone rings and
does that person calling you that's happened so many times, how's this coincidence happen all
the time, there is that system at work, which culturally, we don't have any control or don't know
anything about it, but it is there. Now, if you can work outward and think that there is this mess
of thought, all around that is unorganized. That is not in tune with you see, it doesn't affect you
that much. But I'll be it it is there. It's background noise, if you want to put it that way against
the signals you do perceive of all other human thought you can see what you're swimming in.
And you can see what I'm talking about.

that's, that's the next step. Now let's take a step outward from that. And you might include in
your periphery personality, all of the all of the people that you have known, who have dropped
their physical focusing and taken off and no no longer physical, I put it that way, in a nice light
form versus this, you can use all the so called ugly words, but in other words, who've left here
and are no longer physical, put them on, because surely, I got news for you, they probably are
thinking of you. And you do occasionally Think of your quote dead father, dead mother you do,
you can't help it. So include that. Now, with that upward in mind, take the next point and realize
that there is indeed an influential pattern in all of that mass of bands of ex physical humans,
who are not physical and who are still quote, many of them some way attempting to influence
the action here on Earth. Some of its organized some of its most of it is disorganized, and on
an individual level, but it's there. And we don't perceive it because we have insulated happily to
a great part ourselves from it. One of the things that you have and you can play with it and be
for yourself, you know how to build a revolve around yourself. You would be surprised if you
want to try something some night. Just before you go to sleep, pop the rebol around you and
see the difference. The most famous use of that, for example of the speaking of influences,
was that a beautiful young blonde attended gateway here and had a layover at LaGuardia
Airport and LaGuardia is a bunch of busy businessmen with suit briefcases marching by and
she had to wear a layover and she was eating sitting on a bench here and the flow of males
catching planes and so on was along here and when she sat down there for a while, the bin
went like this and it bent around like that to get a closer look at it. So shall we just for the fun of
it she popped the rebar and then the flow of men stayed over here fascinating. Influence Fila
about this non physical x sphere human x physical human pattern is there and you
encountered in a number a number of different ways. But generally speaking, we have
endured ourselves to it. One of the things that you will become aware of is that you will
because of this expansion because you have taken this freedom route as a work there are
pieces of traffic along the way that you can't expect and so you can put on your your blanket
and go on it's not vicious stuff is just that you don't want that particular type of influence. If for if
you're Christian, you don't want to be in Islamic product A sizer pasta, like you got it. You
know, it's that type of thing. There are so many different types of influences like that that are all
right. related to human. Now let's take the one beyond that. And that is that there are, indeed,
Bob Monroe 45:14
let's call them I call them nh eyes for non human intelligence because they've never quote, I've
never been human. And those flow through this system also, and they flow through it in a
physical way, and in a non physical form. Now, this, we get a lot of impressions about them.
And we have a lot of dreams and hopes of these are our big brothers in the sky, you know,
these these type of patterns. But we have very little avail to virtually all of this nhsi flow,
therefore, it is the exception rather than the rule that they bother even to take a second look at
what we are and an effect what we are, and is sometimes very interesting and fun when you
do find one that'll pay any attention to you. You see, it's it's very interesting. But that influences
there. And as you begin this phasing, state patterns moving more and more, eventually, you
may or may not encounter, they're not as frequent as there are these others, the biggest
cluster are those x physicals that have all sorts of devices to attract your attention or to scare
you, oh, speaking of scaring, they love that. And they take on all sorts of aspects. But that's
another matter. But these are the influences. And then there, of course, is that final influence
that does affect you. And that is, again, that flick that I was just talking about. I don't think it's
that idle, I think it has a radiation, I think it comes from another form of radiation that you that
we cannot perceive or defined properly. So we invent all sorts of terminology, and mistakes to
it in an attempt to identify that. And the effect of that is something else. And that I think it's only
to the degree that one is able to perceive at least a small part of that particular energy. And I
think that's what your observers there to, to help do that when an if the opportunity arises. So
let's see, I'm going down the line Miss mavi am I getting there? Now, I could get through easily
could never take gum, click like, I should have one of these bands like the quarterbacks where
you know, it's got the plays on it, I should do

speaking of the intrusion of laws in our culture, it is not against the law in the state of Virginia,
not to wear a seatbelt in your car. Speaking of influences, this is a beautiful case of influence.
So I can get fined $25, if I don't wear my seatbelt. Well, if we're How did such a law come
about? This is the next question. You think well, why am I being fined or punished if I don't
wear my seatbelt? My bad boy don't wear my seatbelt. If I want to get my head crushed in an
accident, isn't that my right? Well, we're in where does the problem who wanted the seatbelt
law and who would benefit from it? And then you know what? The insurance companies that's
reality, the more you face reality, the way things are, the more you're going to enjoy it, don't
you see? Because you won't get mad about these things. And my greatest sense of humor, we
bought a recent car because the car to repair the old one. Maintenance repair would be on the
order of $4,000. So we bought another car. You know what this car has? He get in and close
the door and jury has got an automatic seat belt. There's nothing you can do about it. You can't
take it on take it off this thing just come sweeping down and lock you in. If you see no.
Bob Monroe 49:46
It is an intrusion. Absolutely. So there are there are the things then also because you are
facing the problem of re entry and I don't know how to tell this properly. So I tell it loosely is
add to how to how to have fun and still stay legal. It's very difficult. But yeah. But basically, I
think if you can consider as long as you don't impose your will on someone else, which means
not harm or hurt someone else, I think there's a great freedom involved. What? What can that
mean? Well, it's a lot of funny things. For example, I express a freedom after maybe what was
it 30 years, you know, three piece and a tie. I my freedom is not to do that anymore. And that is
an indeed great freedom. If you've been in New York and mid summer, and have to wear a tie
and a shirt, and a sweater vest, and a coat. You know what you can't tell you after 20 years,
what a freedom it is to take this and rip it like this and say, Oh, I don't even want to see my
banker, I don't go anymore like that, because he's grown to recognize that I'm not aware of
ties. So but if you can begin to sneak out these freedoms, as they as they as they would
appear. And yes, you have to follow certain patterns in your life because you have that image
however false it may be to put together in order to do whatever you're doing. The most famous
one that I know that how a guy beat the game. And there was a at the Chase Manhattan, one
of the big banks in New York, mo 10 years ago, something needed this genius who was a
computer genius for their whole system inside the bank. And they wanted to pay him whatever
he wanted, but money was only partially indistinct to him. So they couldn't buy him in that form.
So do you know what they made him a vice president. But and however, the problem was that
he wore blue jeans and was barefoot half the time and, and it was long here. And the his
contract made him come in the side door of the bank, when he won the understand what I
mean, he won, because he was needed that much. That's the part of this culture is, if you're
needed, you can get it however you want. That's the beauty of it. So if you go through all this
pattern of, of exercising a free choice, it doesn't hurt anybody. So it's really fascinating. And
think about I could give you should I tell him now? I don't know. Well, anyway, I can show you
what when one of the beautiful values is that living up in the country where there are no
neighbors or whatever. That one of the greatest male freedoms, and the women are very
