ethics. Right? That doesn't make them immoral, it just says that they hold their views in a larger container at that point, right, that I'm going to call ethics. So at least at that point, we need to transcend and include, all right, and if we want to heal the smaller s self, I have a little saying that goes for this and it goes like this, it says you need an ego to get on the bus. Alright, your ego is brought all of us all the way to this point. We've worked very hard to develop our egos. Okay. But then it's going to be your ego, that's going to keep you from getting off the bus, because it wants to think it's in charge. And so the job becomes taking the ego out of the driver's seat and saying, Go to the back of the boss. All right. See, because egos are very good at balancing checkbooks, but they're lousy at telling you who you are. So perhaps that's part of the answer to the question that we asked, Why do we come back? Well, because the process of enlightenment and spirituality is a transcendence, and manifesting of that knowledge that we have and what we experience including it. Alright. 48:08 What I would like to bring to you is what Ken Wilber called the two biggest pitfalls on the path. All right. And I want to give you a warning that this could save you a lot of soul Lake down the road, all right. And the first one that he talked about is one called the pre trans confusion. An example of that pre conventional for trans conventional, a pre trans confusion example. I am my body. I am my feelings. I am my inner child. Okay, we have a saying that goes. I have a hand but I am not my hand. I am the one who has it. I have a foot but I'm not my foot are much more than that, aren't I? I'm the one who has a foot and I have a mind. All right, but I'm the one who has that mind and that ego. So this can be stated again through my Guru Ram Xu. Who knows this. You clever ones, he says, are always looking for a way to beat the system. You want enlightenment. You want eternal bliss. You want the ultimate orgasm. You want it all and you want to be around to enjoy it. This renders you the ultimate sucker. You are fair game. You get baptized and analyzed. You get Roulston s did you meditate and vegetate your rebirth and realigned. I'll be I'll eliminate the cursing. You chant you rant. You heal the chair. I within you collect money in airports. You get in touch with your feelings. You have your palms, your cards, your auras and your chakras read. You have Hemi sync and our soul linked. If you're very clever, you get to go to India, Tibet, Thailand, China, Faber in your heart, you know, the truth is incompatible with indoor plumbing. You humbly contract dysentery or hepatitis, you pretend that Sai Baba is different from Oral Roberts. It's a wonder RAM zu hasn't died laughing all right. The second problem that we have is what he what Wilbur called Flatland. And I would add, at this point, post conventional flatland that all people ideas, awareness are equal. All right, what that does is collapses all his levels, into one quadrant, the left upper quadrant in one spot in the post conventional range, which he, by the way, could call in a perspective, epistemology if you want a fancy word for it. All right. And with that, I have something for Brian and I promised him, which was a story, you know, to get better understanding about this, that my father told me, and my father had gone to one of those big sporting events at the football arenas, you know, and had to use the restroom. Now, this is more for guys, you know, guys will understand this, you know, and they're all standing there around the trough. And my father looks over, you know, at this guy next to him. And he said, he gained enlightenment that that moment, he looked up and said, I really realize all men are not created equal. That was for you. Rams zoo again, you demand to know how can rams zoo laugh as you're being tortured. Canty see, are being stretched on a rack of your own thoughts? Can't he see your pain as your ego relentlessly turns the wheel rams who sees you clutch the ropes that appear to bind you? There are no knots, nothing else holds you down. 52:49 To transcend self, smaller self and to find larger self is a process that was called by Victor Sanchez, that I like I call it anti psychiatry. And it's not in terms of against psychiatry, it's like matter and antimatter. All the psychologies that all of us have learned in the therapies is about building of ego, can we make your ego work as good as it can. This is a necessary process in transcending, but it will never take you to larger self, we must disidentify with self, small ass, so that we can integrate called transcend and include. But please don't ever forget that you got to have a self to be able to dissolve it. And some of the people we're going to come in contact with are kind of down there, you know, down here. So we got to first get them over here to give them the best shot of transcending. All right, and being able to truly have a transformative experience rather than a translated tip. In other words, they're going to translate whatever their experience is back to the level of their awareness. What else could you do? All right. All right. So what we see is you can't use your rational ego and I think most people who come to Gateway learn that really very, very quickly, that you can't use your rational ego to find a higher consciousness that's just the third tunnel. And I think this is where Hemi sync really enters the picture. It creates the ability to transcend the boundaries of ego going back to our picture here. And you know, particularly the TMI affirmation I am more than my physical body you can add, I am more than my ego. More than ordinary mind. I think that Hemi sync creates state dependent learning about larger self in your article Are you still there? In your article enhanced intuitive psychotherapy, you talked about experiences of being able to use Hemi sync to coordinate states of consciousness, in that effect reading your clients thoughts? Have you experienced more things like this, that kind of defy ordinary explanation, you've implied that these experiences lead to a deeper understanding of who you are. So just the other day, I had a client come in, we'll call him, CJ. And we were working with Hemi sync going home, and we were touring the interstate of consciousness as someone else said, you know, this is where we can pick up those signals. And we are coming back from F, you know, focus 27 through 22. And on to c one, and when the patient, you know, kind of came out, and to see one, he looked very, very concerned and said, You know, I feel like I brought something back from, you know, between focus 27 and 22. And he wouldn't say anything more, so I kind of gave him my copy of wave seven and focus 21. And said, go back and take a look. See what you know, if you can identify if something stands out for you, and I said, Give me an email the next day. I didn't hear the next day at all from him. And so when another day and about 240, I got in, I began to email him because I was just kind of worried about what was happening, and what did I do to this guy, you know, and to check up on him. And I got an immediate response, stating that he was in the process of emailing me at that very moment. And I replied, holy synchronicity. And he went on at that point to talk about that he had played cards with his daughter, the night of that session, a game I don't know called, guess who. And he won every hand, which I said, Fine, that's unusual. And you know, and he said, it felt as though I knew every card that was in her hand. And my response was what I guess you brought back a gift. And I began to think, like, we were thinking earlier today, I must have been a piece of yourself, all right, of your higher self. And then my response to that is what I kind of would like to propose to you. That happens to me in each of those moments when these things happen. And they happen an awful lot when I'm working with hemispheric synchronization and my clients is and what am I supposed to do with this? Really, I mean, I just, you know, it doesn't fit any of my models that I'm running down the third tunnel as a psychiatrist in. And so I guess you're more than your physical body and your ego, go back to the discussion of anti psychiatry of dissolving ego. I found to date that the most efficient way to do this is using something called Quantum psychology and the process that are involved in it, has anybody else heard of that? New people, and which was developed by Steven Wollensky. And of course, I combine it with hemispheric synchronization, which creates states of altered consciousness. I know nothing that's more consistently or quicker or more efficient to create experiences beyond ordinary reality. Not to mention Buddhists I believe, see the ego as a dragon or a some kind of monster with 1000 heads on it. And they say that there are two ways of working and dissolving dismantling ego, there's a slow way where we can go and cut off each of its heads. You know, and if anybody is a fan of Carlos Castaneda, you could call that recapitulation is one way of doing it there lots of different ways. Or you can do it quickly, all at once. And I think that's what quantum psychology does. And so at this point, I have, you know, I was looking, you know, when you need a multi headed monster, it's really amazing. They're hard to find, you know, and so we can go and, and chop each one of these off down the road. Okay, or I have another picture, it was hard to come up with a multi headed to things, you know, sort of like that. All right, can either knock off the king or take care of all the pages around him? All righty. So quantum psychology and how it works, it doesn't work on content of the illusion or trance of identity. It just assumes that identity doesn't exist. That it's a train Dance, but instead looks at the core processes using deep hypnotic phenomena. Example age regression, time distortion, hallucinations, which create and recreate identity. If identity is constructed, it can be deconstructed leading to transcendence. You can see the bigger capitalist self behind the smaller, louder, smaller, less self. Alright, and then with quantum psychology, you can even go as far as dissolving the witness or the observer that you know, picked all these things up in the first place to find true nothingness, and eventually non dual reality. So, we're now ready to experience this by doing some exercises using Hemi sync brought with me all right. This light doesn't want to go out. Alrighty. All right, me in mechanical things. Alrighty. And we're going to use remembrance for meta music. So please make yourself comfortable in your seats. And we're gonna run through a whole bunch of exercises. All right, that I hope can give you an experience of anti psychiatry and the dissolving of small s self. All right, and I did sign with all of you sign your informed consent that I can do this. I'm okay, I just want to see. All righty, so please sit comfortably. Let your eyes closed gently. Intentionally recall an incident that upset you. It might or might not involve other people. It could be the toilet overflowing while you're home alone. Or it could involve an angry nonverbal exchange with the motorists. A misunderstanding with a clerk or a clash with a loved one. Visualize the incident, seeing yourself in the middle of it. Be in the middle of it, recreating the scene with all the turmoil and annoyance with which you originally experienced it. Next, continue to see the very same scene. But also notice that you are watching it 1:02:38 now there is a you in the same scene experiencing all the emotions and upset and there is a you outside of the scene in the experience of observation. Noticing all the emotions, thoughts and sensations. Notice if there's any difference between how you experience the two
