1993 Professional Seminar: F. Holmes 'Skip' Atwater (Transcript) NOTE: This is a raw transcript – it is exactly as created by otter.ai. 00:06 Good afternoon. Our speaker this afternoon as someone who most of you have met, and maybe the first information that you received from the Monroe Institute was his paper on the theoretical aspects of uni sync. Now skip has been involved with the Institute much longer than I have. And I feel privileged to begin to work closely with him since January of this year. Since so many of you know his qualifications, I will just say that skip is one of the most sensitive, aware and considerate people that I had the pleasure to know, never talked to you about the current research, the Hemi sync technology. always wondered what I was going to talk about this afternoon, I guess Shirley's set the stage. 01:00 I had the distinct privilege, this last spring, fall, Summer, month ago, going on to Monterey and speaking with the, what I refer to as the subtle people. And what I'm talking about is a group of people that go by the name ICM, R. Let me see if I can read that acronym for you here. It's an almost big enough print. But I use my masters, the International Society for the Study of subtle energies and energy medicine. And this is a wonderful group of people in there, it was really privileged to be able to talk to them, if you yourselves are unfamiliar with who these folks are wanting to pass one of their publications around to you. What they're all about is trying to get themselves established to get energy medicine, subtle energy medicine, ingrained within the community so that they might be able to be more involved to the average doctor. Now I'm going to try to explain something And please, if there's somebody out there that understands the system better than I do, you can straighten out the series of events that I'm about to explain to you, please interrupt me. It seems that the mission in life here is to get on something called Med net. And it's this computer interface kind of things that doctors call up to and then they get continuing education credits and things like that. Now, step one to getting involved in MedNet, is you have to be in the Library of Congress. Because if you submit articles and papers to MedNet, they won't touch you unless you're in the Library of Congress. How do you get this kind of publication library Congress, you back up two more steps. And you must publish for three continuous years, and publish at least three times a year for three continuous years. And then the library Congress reviews, who is on your article review board, you got to have people with funny letters after their name and have a reputation that review the articles submitted to you, then you publish them in a journal that has to happen for three years. Three, three issues per year, then the library, Congress will accept you, then you can make application to med net I think it's called. And then people can get continuing education credits, and you're reputable, signed on organization. So these people in the subtle energies, the ICM people, which actually started out the Menninger Foundation, and Elmer green, as the founder of this, they are now approaching their third year 1993 will be their third year. So they're very serious about the publications. And when you submit a paper to them, they have to be reviewed by a panel of scientists to their funding letters after their name and their reputable people. And then it is accepted for publication, and so forth. So they it's a powerful moving dynamic group of people because they're really nice energy charge people. And they're serious about trying to get this into the establishment, so that it would be acceptable for the common doctor to talk about this because, you know, unless it's in certain channels, they won't talk about it, because they're afraid of criticism. So if you haven't gotten involved or know what the ICM people are, I'm going to pass around one of their publications and this is an older one, but in the front here, you can get fax, telephone numbers and things like that. You can subscribe or become a member just like at the institute, you can subscribe to our publications or become a member of the Institute, they have the same kind of situation. So if you're interested in energy medicine, these are some people to get involved with. I'm going to give you a couple of examples of things that we talked about when we were out there. But I'll pass that around, you might want to copy down a phone number, or fax number or something for the front cover of that. Comment. Sure, 05:26 practice medicine in this country, is totally illegal, unless you have an MD. So what we're doing is turning this sort of thing over to, to MD 05:41 interesting concept isn't what we're trying what we're trying to do not us, what they're trying to do with my understanding, is to make it acceptable for the licensed people in the medical profession, to use these things, to mention these things to consider these things without ridicule. I mean, just getting the information into the MDS head that there are alternative ways to do things, you have to be positioned in a certain reflective light in order to get your information in there. So I think that that's what they're attempting to do. They're attempting to get by these very structured, established things to make the information available. Okay, let's see, I wanted to share three stories that happened to me while I was out talking at the ICM conference. But Charlene shared one of them this morning, was about the concept of information doubling. That was one of the things in the presentation, there were some funny numbers that came up and things and that was one of them. And so I don't have to tell that story. Because you already know what about the information doubling all the time. The other one that I was going to share with you was, because these people are into the medicine and of consciousness here. A startling fact that was stated was that 85% of our health care dollars, are spent on the last six months of life. 07:19 Now, that sounds like there's something wrong to me. It's like if you're gonna spend it, and you're gonna die in six months, why spend it, you know, 07:31 there's a concept of the way our medical professions feel that death is a failure. There's a concept of, gee, I don't want to be in the system that does things that way, I'd like to have the healthcare dollars spent on me as I live keeping me healthy, not dump at all, in the last six months of life. It was just such a big number to me in this as a group to 350 people talking, I thought, Oh, my God, there's something wrong here. And the system works that way. So as Clinton is trying to straighten out our health care dollar, which you probably won't be able to do. It's a big number. Some of you are from countries not here in the United States. And you might think about some of the medicine systems that you have, and how they might work better than that, I hope. 08:26 We have an insurance industry industry here who can sometimes get in the way of the best health care. 08:36 Okay, the other story I wanted to talk about was a little bit of Elmer Greene's copper wall experiment. Now for those of you who haven't followed Elmer Greene's copper wall study out in Kansas at the Menninger Foundation, he discovered some years ago, that when you trained Yogi's gurus, meditators that the old way to do that was to have the novice sit on an ISO, insulated piece of glass or insulate a table and they would face north and on the north wall was a sheet of copper that they had. And this is usually done in a crude cave like thing. And then they would suspend a magnet over the head of the individual. And supposedly the north end of the magnet was supposed to be pointing up. And this was supposed to be an aid in learning to meditate. Well, over the last number of years, they have been testing this system and they've done some beautiful, beautiful scientific work showing that this is true. And the way they did that was they would run double blind experiments with sometimes there was a magnet in the little box above the head and sometimes there wasn't a magnet in the box above the head. Sometimes the magnet would be polarized the right gray and sometimes it would be polarized down in the subject never knew. And they came up with a little paper and pencil test called the lucidity index at which you were supposed to describe the lucidity encounter a certain number of points for your experience. Well, what they found out in doing double blind studies for a couple of years was that it really did matter. They found out that women had more lucid experiences, if the north arrow was down man had more lucid experiences with the north arrow was up. In the second year of experience excitement, second year of experiments, they doubled the gauze of the magnet, meaning they made it more powerful. And it actually raised the index, the lucidity index. So having completed those experiments, they began doing some other things that's kind of past history, fascinating concepts of that how that worked. And you can get all that material from the Menninger foundation. Now they began another set of experience experiments was what I want to tell you about and that was in healing. And they noticed while doing these other experiments, that if they put very delicate instruments measuring the copper wall, and it was insulated from ground and floating out there and in insulation space, that if they measured parameters that they can measure things like respiration and heart rate and other things happening on the copper wall, it was very sensitive to the electrodynamics in the room when they took healers in there and they said, Okay, now I want you to send your healing energy from this person to the other person, they began to discover in 15 or 17 subjects a very high voltage spike on the copper wall surface. Now, by high voltage, I mean between 60 and 200 volts. Now, that's a lot of voltage when you're talking about brainwaves in the range of milli volts, teeny, tiny, itty bitty milli volts. And you're talking about projected out there some feet away some sort of anomalous electrical spike between 60 and 200 volts in 15 out of 17 subjects doing healing to tremendous tremendous High Voltage connected with this. Now, the supposition is not that it is this voltage that is doing the healing, that this voltage is somehow anomalous to what's going on in another dimension. But he has evidence of something physically happening, that doesn't happen, elsewise? Well, one fascinating thing they did was they brought in William tiller. William Tiller is a very highly regarded physicist from Stanford. And they asked him to use a whole bunch of funny mathematics to calculate where in the body this energy burst was coming from. And he spent an hour and a half going through all these mathematics on the board. And there were only six people out of 350, who knew what he was talking about, I was not one of the six. And we kept waiting. So that's the bottom line. So what's the bottom line, and the bottom line is, is it comes from the solar plexus. And it's very interesting to know that where they measured it was to count the time arrival of the way the burst arrived at the walls and then do reverse projection, mathematics and everything and figure it all out. The energy seems to be radiating from the solar plexus. And that was even if the healer would hold up their hands and kind of move their hands around the healing energy did not emanate from the hands but came from the solar plexus. It is in my own head. I'm explaining this to myself saying that. It's part of my intentionality message. When I'm focusing on Jill's knee. It's my intentionality that I'm using
