And I can tell you it's a wonderful experience. This lady has been teaching and using Reiki for how many years now. And she was awaking similar in Madrid, Spain. And people are working with that healing modality all the time. And he knew snake is part of that process. And in our work here in the Reiki training, I got to experience for myself the difference that makes, or we were working along during our exercises trading off with each other. And when the sink was playing, and type stopped. And it felt as though someone would pull the rug out. Where is it? Carol is going to talk to us today, even work about the part that any site plays in that work can also be clear. 01:15 Ever since I started coming to the Monroe Institute, it seems like airports have played an important role in getting me here. I first discovered the Monroe Institute in JFK as I was, had a seven hour layover, and a book fell off one of the bookshelves and hit me on the foot and it was mega brain. And in there, I thought, I've got to go to this place the rest of it this place. Well, let me tell you a funny thing that happened on the way to this forum. This is really pretty good. I'm in the Madrid airport. And I was one of the last people to arrive parently because they gave me the last year on the airplane. And the guy at the ticket desk is chatting with me. And he says, Oh, I see you're gone to lots of places you're going to Virginia, going to Cincinnati and he says, not too long ago, a couple of years ago, I was gonna write some music for a place in Virginia, some place called the Monroe Institute. This is the guy at the ticket desk at the Madrid airport. So we got off to a good start. And today, I'm gonna tell you some more about the work, you may have read a recent article that I had in the focus about some of the work we've been doing since that has been published. But even long before that, we've started some new avenues that I'll tell you about today. But first, we'll just start telling you a little bit about Reiki, you have a little piece of paper there, that gives you a better explanation of Reiki. Reiki is considered probably one of the most ancient healing techniques, it's a hands on healing technique, we're channeling energy through us. We call this energy universal energy that we're bringing in from the universe through us and out to the other person. At the same time, we're also receiving energy ourselves, which makes this a special process for us also, because we're not using our own energy will never become tired. And just the opposite. A lot of times I have to throw the people out of my healing center at 11 o'clock at night because they're so enthused with all of this that they won't go home. But I wanted to give you just a little idea of what we're doing in Madrid. So if we can have the first slide, this is just a little bit of sort of ambiance that you can see this is Granvia in Madrid is the main street in Madrid. And we are in this little building right right up there. So we're right in the middle of it. Oh, and that traffic is down there. But unfortunately, we're on the other side of the building. We have like a little oasis up there. We could put on the next slide. This is just midday traffic from the other day. I was taking these pictures. This is not normal. It's usually much worse than this because it's summer right now and there's not too many people in Madrid. This is the hall in our healing center. We call it a healing center Wellness Center. It's really a Reiki Volunteer Center. But we do so much work with Hemi sync mixed with Reiki and presentations on the sound that this is sort of one of the main centerpieces here in our center. That's another picture that we have. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening. We have the volunteers come and do the healing and we have So many people come we have about 40 or 50 people that we have to put beds in the halls and every place because there's just not enough room in our main main room. This is another part of our little oasis. This is quite unusual in the middle of Madrid to have a terrace this large. But this is really wonderful, especially for the Hemi sync presentations than I do gives people a chance to get out and get a little bit of fresh air. It's not quite the same as the new land, but we do the best we can do that are similar. That's another one of the tariffs you can see, we are in the very, very old part of counting see the roof there, though. The old tile roofs and things. Okay, now this is one of the typical Hemi sync presentation or classes that we do. These classes I'll explain to you in just a minute how basically they are tied into training healers. But this is the usual setup we have this is our main classroom in this building. And there we are, again, like other people have said today, no check units. But the group energy when we work like this in a group, this usually between 15 and 20 people in these groups is really quite helpful to get a lot of the energy moving. And since these people are together for Reiki, for Hemi sync, we have sort of a long term contact with them. And we can see a lot of these changes that are taking place in the group energy forming. And this now is Reiki class. Reiki, as I said is hands on healing. You don't need any special qualifications to be able to do this. This is a totally natural process that anyone can learn. Reiki classes are usually held in one weekend. And the way we teach them, there's lots of hands on practice, because we feel that probably the most important issue here is for the person to actually feel confident that this is something that they can do. It's not something that gifted people can do but they won't be able to do and so we try to give as much practice time as possible so that they can really feel the energy in their hands during this first weekend of of practice. So that classes are usually a day and a half. We do attunements and tournaments is like a meditation where the Reiki master or the Reiki teacher will give energy to the student which actually facilitates this process. And then we'll do lots and lots of practice. And that's pretty much the way we're going to do the little class that we're going to have here tomorrow and Tuesday for those of you who'd like to join in with us. This is just another day and this is actually on one of our healing days on a Thursday. When people come we exchange Reiki because both Reiki and the Hemi sync, we try to have an ongoing process so that people don't sort of come take the class, get a piece of paper and go home, put it put it in their in their drawer and forget that this exists, but they have the opportunity to continue working with it to continue practicing. And it's another you can see there's a few men involved. In the Reiki. We don't usually have as many men as women in the Hemi sync. There's usually about half and half. And I think this last one. Yeah. Okay. The way Reiki is set up it is training that has three parts we have the physical healing, which is what you're seeing there. Second Degree Reiki is mental emotional healing and distance healing. We teach that also in a weekend. And in the second degree Reiki, we have a really important part of working on ourselves with emotional level healing and doing the distant healing. And this is rather difficult for many people. Because it requires actually being in a state of consciousness, holding that energy and then channeling the energy. We found right from the very beginning that the Hemi sync with this process was a tremendous assistance, tremendous assistance but you Let's talk about the healers talking about patients we, from the very beginning, as I told you a couple of years ago, we always have music playing in the background, we have the inner journey on all the time people walk in the door and say, just walking in here, I'm so relaxed, it must do this Reiki energy, but we all know that it's really inner journeys. That just, like connect with and immediately, we also have the pillows with the speakers in them, which helps some of the people relax quicker. And then, after hearing last year's presentation by Dr. Jim Papa, I had always felt myself that there's something about the balancing of the two hemispheres that had a physical effect. And then it was physically healing. But since nobody here at the institute's sort of mentioned this kind of 11:00 effect, I felt well, maybe it's just that, you know, I'm obsessed with healing. And I've got this thing in my brain. But after I heard Dr. Tam, Papa's testing that he did with the biomarkers last year, I thought, Well, really, somebody else is saying the same thing. That's really wonderful. And so now we make it a practice to give tapes to all of the people that come requesting healing because of illness. So they can have this effect, plus the relaxation effect in their homes every day, even though they can't have the Reiki every day. But that that is sort of old hat. This is mostly things that I've spoken about before written about that now my focus has changed more to training, healers, this has become more and more important it started. I've been training, you know, the Reiki healers, but it's become sort of a more definite focus. That a year ago, we had a meeting in my home of the Reiki Association, we have an association and there's about 45, Reiki Masters, that belong to this association. And they're all most of our teaching. Most of them don't teach as much as I do. But you know, they are teaching classes. But at that time, I noticed that out of this group, we didn't have 45 in attendance, but we had about 25 that about 10 of them had done the Hemi sync work was sort of so far ahead of the rest. And all kinds of things the way they were working, how much they were working, how are the kind of results they were having, just listening to the group I was picking up? Isn't that interesting? Because it really, really seems to be a difference. And I kept thinking, Well, this must be because the Hemi sync and Abels them to go into these different focus levels into these different levels of consciousness can hold that energy stay there and get the healing work done. And we aren't using the special deck tapes are healing and you're using doing the Hemi sync in Spanish, one has to get creative so that because no one can speak English. And so we have to use Why use the transcendence tape, I use a lot of the music tapes I use facial downhome and the sort of suppressed English a little bit so people don't get too nervous because we had all kinds of strange reactions when when the English comes on that we've been able to do a lot of tapes and a lot of work with the Hemi sync. And so I thought, well, maybe what we ought to do is start looking into this a little bit more seriously and see if there would be some kind of correlation that I could find somewhere that would verify what I'm seeing. So I started hunting around. I've got a few transparencies here to show you. Some of the documentation that I found sort of backed up my beliefs and made me more interested in getting this underway as is a total process Reiki with the Hemi sync as a toll system. And that's exactly what we're working on right now. This many of you are going to recognize Yeah, okay. The image size papers a little bit bigger than American but this is from Valerie Hans book. She talks in his book, something I found very interesting that there are different kinds of healers. Some healers are very specifically oriented towards pain healing. Other ones are A very good
