IMEC (Marie Cobel) with “Friends” October 30, 1986 Session 209: Wishful thinking Summary: Material reality is reinforced by beings seeing and acknowledging what is manifested. As of yet there exist aspects of the subconscious that has not manifested, the master, the mystic, the magician, and the products of wishful thinking. As a greater number of beings manifest and make these aspects a reality they will be acknowledged as a part of reality. Then these phenomena will be normal. This can be achieved in two ways. First by the unexpressed aspect energy being reborn on the earth plane. Over generations this energy will grow into a reality. Second is to develop the conscious aspect within yourself. When you wish to display the phenomena then you use this aspect of your developed personality. In order to develop this other aspect, which has the capability to produce phenomena; you have to apply your attention in that direction. This means you have to withdraw your attention from these other aspects of your personality. Your personality aspects exist to provide you protection. These aspects are the methods you use to interact with the physical world and other energies. They believe that they will cease to exist if you do not give them attention and energy and will negotiate with you to preserve themselves. The reality is these aspects are not you, they were placed upon you as a young person and have served you, but you can make a conscious decision to move past them. They will survive within you as they are loved and will follow with you to your perfect place. There is a third way that your aspects believe that phenomena can be manifested but it is not true. Earth plane aspects believe that by teaching and talking about phenomena that it will become true. They look to the outside through media and the belief of others to make it a truth. The discovery of Christ is that the truth is within. The Father is within. This is the path of discovering the true self, love and the discovery of the master aspect of love which is built from within. Having conquered your aspects, which have acted as guardians, then you can proceed on to creating the aspect within yourself capable of making phenomena. Since your birth you are exposed to the earth-based aspects which were created by those who came before you. It is the realization of their influence and the shedding of this illusion that ultimately allows you to create your true being which is capable of escaping the earth energies. The channeling process allows the creation also of an aspect within your personality that over time can express itself in your waking state. Other comments: This is the first admission that the Friends make that they are given the same priority in Marie's consciousness as the other aspects. They discuss the aspective nature of life on earth and the need to create a new aspect free of the earth- based aspect influences.
