[912.4-920.3] had to be synthesized by the brain. This is very important. How it synthesizes a matter, [920.3-927.5] does this, is a matter of great controversy. Some say that some of the specialists say that this is a [928.0-934.0] crossing of the corpus callosum, the neural network between the two brain hemispheres. [935.5-938.8] Others say, well, it goes all the way down to the brain stem, and some say it goes all the [938.8-945.3] way down the bottom of the spine. I don't know. Anyway, I'm not the neurologist, so [946.0-950.8] I'm just reporting some of the odd explanations. Everybody agrees it happens, but [951.6-958.8] how is another thing. We can even, for example, between those beat frequencies, here's a tone here, [958.8-964.7] if you are musical, for example, here's an A here, and here's a C here, or better still, [965.5-970.4] for a point of analogy, it doesn't work this way. Here's an A here, and here's an E in this ear, [970.4-977.7] and the resulting beat frequency might be a C. We can take those, for example, and play [978.8-986.2] a tune in your head, and it's all synthesized in your brain. This is a lot of fun. You hear this, [986.2-990.6] and you don't hear it. Hear this, and you don't hear it. Put it together, and you hear a tune in [990.6-995.8] your head, a third signal that is a tune. We have a little merry hat, a little lamb, and it's a lot [995.8-1006.4] of fun. But it is a signal that, when you can hear that given tune, it is a signal that this [1006.4-1014.1] other important thing is taking place. This important thing that is taking place is that [1014.1-1022.4] when that binaural beat creates a, or is synthesized by your brain, you then have a [1022.5-1029.4] synchronized hemispheric situation, a synchronization of the two brain hemispheres. [1031.3-1041.0] And that is a real story. This synchronization effect is, in turn, [1043.4-1052.9] so profound that we have only begun to scratch the surfaces of it. The major, you as individuals, [1052.9-1057.6] you know about the whole studies, I'm sure, you're very sophisticated in terms of the left [1057.6-1063.2] and right hemisphere and these two left and right minds, [1063.2-1071.9] that each of us have, and the difference in the characteristics of these two means of thinking [1071.9-1078.5] and how they interact and to varying degrees. This, in other words, for example, the left or [1079.1-1083.9] left brain hemisphere, the left mind, is the one that we use for all of our [1085.3-1093.2] day-to-day activities. It's an analytical processing mind. It's a very practical, pragmatic mind, [1093.2-1102.3] as it were. And the right is an intuitive, spatial, conceptual part of us. And obviously, [1103.0-1111.5] as we grow up in our culture, there are different balances between these two types of thinkings [1111.5-1116.6] that are represented by these hemispheres. Incidentally, all of this is, there's one [1116.6-1122.5] school of thought one way and another the other way. And so this is just sort of the [1124.0-1128.9] general consensus thinking these days, but I said consensus, but it doesn't mean all of it. [1130.3-1136.7] The net result, however, of this synchronization of these hemispheres, what we have been able to do [1137.2-1147.3] is to create a focusing, a wide amplitude, high amplitude signal, and focus it in a narrow band. [1148.5-1154.1] And the whole brain, the whole mind, works in synchronization with this. The effects of this [1154.1-1159.7] are so spectacular, I can't begin to tell you. We feel that we can't talk about it now, [1159.7-1167.7] because we've had enough experience to know some of the basics of it. The only other place [1167.7-1178.5] where this has taken place in a willful situation is in the case of a Zen master who was [1179.9-1185.7] put under a similar hemispheric balancing situation, meaning nothing more than a readout [1185.7-1189.6] of what he is doing. And when he went into one of his advanced states of meditation, [1189.6-1199.8] this hemispheric synchronization effect took place. Now, that's our tiger. [1200.0-1209.7] the tail is this hemispheric synchronization, this whole mind approach. And we did not know [1209.7-1217.6] we were doing this particular thing until some nice buddy hooked the hemispheric synchronization [1217.6-1224.3] dual trace scope up to one of our research programs in California. He said, hey, look [1224.3-1230.9] what's going on. And we had, here was, for example, before we inserted this synchronization [1230.9-1236.3] effect, here was one signal going like this, and here's the other going like this, and [1236.3-1241.5] then suddenly they go all like that in this beautiful form, two signals in exact sync. [1241.5-1249.8] This created all sorts of excitement, and from then on we've been trying to piece together [1249.8-1256.9] what this means, what this exactly means. It becomes obvious immediately that what does [1256.9-1263.1] it do, and where does it happen. And we've discovered that it does happen naturally, [1263.1-1272.5] occasionally, with individuals. We found that a balanced mind, a balanced hemisphere does [1272.5-1278.1] not necessarily mean this synchronization. There are two different things. If you have [1278.1-1284.4] an interaction between the two, does not mean this synchronization effect. So we began [1284.4-1290.5] to move downstream and say, let's find out what this synchronization does. I'll give you some ideas. [1290.5-1302.4] One man, for example, and within three minutes, and you really don't, this is not a painful thing [1302.4-1308.8] incidentally, this is a very nice thing to have happen to you. It sounds ominous, I know, [1308.8-1319.0] but it isn't. It's far from that. One man, for example, is able to multiply one eight-digit [1319.0-1324.7] number by another eight-digit number and come out instantly with the answer when he has his [1324.7-1330.5] hemisphere synchronized. Take him away, he can't do it. He can't even multiply a two-digit number [1330.5-1336.7] by another, but every time he uses this, within 15 seconds after he begins to listen to this [1337.2-1346.1] particular pulse pattern. A chairman of a board of a large corporation was down visiting us. Man, [1346.1-1351.3] he said, what's this about? And I said, well, find out for yourself. So we dumped him in one [1351.3-1356.5] of our booths and pipes and patterns for him to listen to. And he came out 15 minutes later, [1356.5-1361.1] strolled out and looked at the mountains. And I said, what's the matter? Are you all right? [1361.1-1368.8] He said, oh yes, I'm fine. What is it? And he says, Bob, how long does this sense of [1368.8-1378.8] euphoria last? And he said, I've never encountered anything quite like it. He says, it's not like [1378.8-1386.8] having two cocktails or something like that. It's something else. Anyway, that's another effect. [1386.8-1395.6] An engineer, for example, in utilizing this particular effect was able to come up with a [1396.2-1405.7] very, very important discovery in the use that has application in solar energy. And he is, I believe, [1405.7-1410.7] I can't discuss it anymore because I don't know whether he got his patent file on it. But I do [1410.7-1414.7] know that he has immediately attracted the attention of the whole industry with it. [1414.7-1423.5] Another band in returning home from one of our experimental sessions got the inspiration to [1423.5-1432.2] write a book. And he had about an 800 mile drive home. And on his way, he had this great [1432.2-1437.5] inspiration to write a book. He stopped in a motel and would spend a day in that motel and [1437.5-1442.0] would write the book and drive another day and spend another day. And by the time he got home, [1442.0-1447.1] he had the book written. And he sold it two days after that. That's pretty good. [1447.1-1457.2] And incidentally, I've discovered to my great delight that there are several people here [1457.8-1466.7] right out here who have already been into one of these programs and have experienced this [1466.7-1471.4] particular effect in one of our experimental sessions. And it was quite a pleasant surprise [1471.4-1477.3] to find several of them here. So this is not always, it affects different people in different [1477.3-1486.5] ways, but some 2,000 volunteer participants later, we do not find any destructive or derogatory [1486.5-1495.7] effects. And this is what's important. A woman, for example, one woman after three such sessions [1495.7-1500.7] stood up and said, I haven't been able to do this for 30 years. She'd been over and touched her [1500.7-1508.7] toes. She had had some type of thing in her back that had, I'm not authoritative enough to do this, [1508.7-1515.1] but it was amazing. And this was a thing that a year later, it was not a momentary thing. It [1515.1-1520.9] was not a euphoric healing, as it were. And there's been all sorts of this type of thing [1520.9-1528.7] where people have taken what they needed and gone into this particular type of state of being, [1528.7-1536.1] state of consciousness, and have come out with these different kinds of things. There have been [1536.1-1546.0] many, many, many peak experiences, mystical experiences, spiritual experiences far that have [1546.0-1556.6] overwhelmed people. And they have returned with a different type of perspective in their life, [1556.6-1565.2] a different overview that was, again, a permanent thing. It doesn't affect everyone instantly, [1565.2-1573.8] but that's the other part. Slowly, very carefully, even at a totally non-conscious level, this [1573.8-1587.4] gateway is open through this hemispheric synchronizing effect. The psychiatric people call it a change in [1587.4-1593.2] personality, for example. That this is a change. I like to call it a change in overview, a change [1593.2-1601.0] in perspective. But they call it a change in personality and a permanent change, which is the [1601.0-1612.9] other interesting thing. We, of course, have used all of this in our own mode, which is, and have [1612.9-1623.1] specialized the use of this in our research effort by a team of explorers. And we have a special pulse [1623.1-1627.8] pattern that we have developed for each one of these explorers to optimize the effect with them. [1628.7-1636.1] And as a result, there's a special training program that we utilize for this Explore Pathfinder mode, [1636.1-1646.3] where they go and explore not only this particular physical matter reality, but other energy systems. [1646.3-1654.9] And that's a whole other facet of what we do. And the most addictive, I might add, because it's [1654.9-1662.4] very difficult to leave alone. Some of our frustrations have occurred in sending out a team [1662.4-1672.9] of three explorers at the same time. We have three booths in our facility that are isolated, [1672.9-1678.9] one from the other, and they have other types of isolation, too. But they are separate, one [1678.9-1684.8] from the other. And we gave up sending these teams out because it was much too difficult to [1684.8-1692.3] handle under our present status. It's like trying to fly three airplanes at the same time, [1692.3-1698.2] more or less, because we have one part of the thing in our explorers in the out-of-body state [1698.2-1703.0] that they have learned how to report back. They reach back and use their physical vocal cords to [1703.0-1713.8] report. Also, by this same X energy, this bioenergy, they are able to hear what we say to them. [1714.5-1723.0] So therefore, we can vector them out on a given direction or a given location or a given energy [1723.0-1729.2] system and have them explore in teams. And once they are there, they can communicate with one [1729.2-1737.6] another, and it becomes very exciting. Sometimes our control center at the lab resembles nothing [1737.6-1743.5] so much as Houston Space Center. And I look very enviously at those hundred people that they have,
