Session 201: Fears of the channel
Original Question: During the channeling it is required to verbalize the interaction with
the Friends. Would it be beneficial for the Channel to not verbalize?
Summary: What is happening with this explorer is that the energy is being allowed to
flow; bypassing the aspects. The consciousness of the channel being available, and
witnessing is the method available to expand the conscious of the explorer. The use of
words and what is said stimulates and activates the aspects. When information is given
and it is not understood by the aspects or it is in opposition to their form or theory, then
resistance occurs. It is very easy for an individual to annoy another individual. But this is
a very subtle point. The question about the use of some words over others. Over time
the channels' resistance diminishes and they are able to use any words and the flow is
free. A channel is able to produce new information that they have not studied or been
exposed. They are able to bring forth information from an outside source. This is only
possible when they can allow words to flow through in any form or arrangement without
resisting. Just being able to allow the flow as an observer is what expands the
consciousness.
When the energies first work through the explorer they work with the aspects, the belief
systems and familiar concepts. The choice of words and subject matter is very important
not to upset the explorer. As a child the entity learns a belief system, and this is a part of
the child aspect. As one grows and changes their opinions and beliefs, they develop a
new aspect, yet the child aspect is still there and must be taken into account. The best
way to deal with the aspects is to allow them to be heard through channeling. If they are
allowed to express themselves then they will cooperate and allow the outside
information to flow freely without their intervention. When an explorer is afraid of the
information being channeled then this is the indication that the inner aspect has to be
heard and allowed to be expressed.
The issue as seen by the aspects is that the expansion of consciousness is seen as a
threat to their existence or the belief system. The fact that the explorer is feeling
uncomfortable or has fear and wishes to withdraw is the sign that growth is taking place.
The process of putting the guardian at ease allows the possibility of the negative side of
the aspects to be expressed or those hidden aspects which are not allowed to be
expressed. When the explorer realizes that there is a conflict within themselves this may
cause distress. The feelings of vulnerability exposed and the dread of possibly losing all
their secrets can cause great anxiety.
As the consciousness realizes that there is spirit energy being allowed to flow through
their energy field, they become familiar with these other aspects of their personality and
no longer fear them or have anger or shame. This is the process where they have fully
integrated their personality and can be a true observer. There is the acceptance of all
that is man and all that is greater than man. This is what allows the energy to flow
through.
This is the learning that one is seeking; the ability to differentiate the difference of
oneself and the aspects and the spirit energies. When you recognize the spirit energy
then you recognize the source.
So too when you recognize the aspects within yourself these are the creation of man
and are to be recognized as from man. A creation is not good or bad but a creation.
When you deny these expressions, you limit the ability to receive information outside of
yourself. There is no need to be afraid or shameful of the full range of expression of
man. There are paradoxes and contradictions, lies and also great acts of heroism and
love. This is the nature of being a dual reality; it cannot be avoided.
When you enter an altered state, you become the observer of your own mental
processes. You can see if there is agreement or resistance to information. You can
learn to recognize what aspect is bringing information to your attention and understand
how it will affect the energy of your being. Understanding that you’re getting information
from an earth plane aspect allows you to understand that there are information sources
outside of the earth plane. If you are willing to accept this, then you are able to be
taught.
When you can allow the information to flow no matter what the content or the words
being spoken then there is true potential for full expression of the information.
