BOB’S TALK - 10/06/90, Side 2
Bob: » . «a belief system that is built around us ~ a box. And
in that box, here we are, and we’d like to get out of the box.
But, because it’s “boring,” ~ but that’s where we also,
conversely, feel very safe and secure. Because the box itself is
the things that we know. You know, or I’m pretty sure that you
know, you are sitting here tonight. That’s a known to you. So,
that’s easy. And all the history that you know, human history,
all the psychiatry, all the philosophy, all the religious models,
and so on, form this box in which you exist.
Now, what you’re trying to do right now is to find a way out
of this box. But the problem is that outside that box are the
fears, are the unknowns. That’s the difference. Now, all this
becomes your option. It’s so important to know, all the whole
process is your option, not ours. It’s nothing ~- we’re not
teaching you anyLhing dangerous. My goodness. We’re up to about
7,000 people that have been through this thing now. And you’re
the latest improved model, so - This is, that’s the point. You
can work from a nice secure base. But, I can show you a reality
and you can see what I mean.
I can spend the rest of the time talking, but a picture is
worth a thousand words. A colored picture is worth ten thousand
words. And a colored, talking picture - I probably should have
shown you this little three minute thing, and I wouldn’t have had
to say anything at all. Lenctep sicle 2}
