[792.2-798.8] We teach people techniques, again using the audio technology of the Hemi-Sync, which is
[798.8-804.7] short for Hemispheric Synchronization, and it helps people explore different states of
[804.7-808.9] consciousness where they're experiencing it themselves.
[808.9-814.9] All we do is we provide the tools, and then people learn to get into these different states,
[814.9-818.0] starting with, and he calls them focus levels.
[818.0-822.9] So he would say, for example, when your body's asleep and your mind is awake, he called
[822.9-825.4] that focus 10.
[825.4-830.4] Focus 12 is where you start to have more expanded awareness.
[830.4-835.3] Focus 15 is where you go into a state of no time, and so forth, and it goes more and
[835.3-842.8] more in greater and greater states of awareness so that what you are learning to do is access
[842.8-847.8] parts of yourself, talents that you never knew you had before.
[847.8-853.1] People end up going into these states and then also getting into communication with
[853.1-857.9] parts of themselves as well as perhaps people who have passed on, because remember we're
[857.9-861.2] talking about getting beyond physical matter reality.
[861.2-866.5] So then it starts getting very interesting, and perhaps a tad bit esoteric, but I suspect
[866.5-871.2] your listeners have a tad bit of esoteric interest, otherwise they wouldn't be tuned
[871.2-872.2] in.
[872.2-874.3] Oh, absolutely right, yes.
[874.3-881.2] And I have heard, I have a guest, Marcus Leader, who comes on now and then, and he's tried
[881.2-887.1] to tell me about these different levels, and he says that the levels go all the way up
[887.1-893.2] to the same level that a person goes into during a near-death experience.
[893.2-894.2] Is that true?
[894.2-895.2] Oh, yes.
[895.2-902.8] As a matter of fact, when my mother died, who was Nancy Penn, Monroe, my stepfather
[902.9-909.9] Bob, wanted to put together a program that helped perhaps people obtain access to be able
[911.7-914.8] to communicate with those who had passed on.
[914.8-920.3] And so in looking at, and remember a lot of this is done using audio technology, so he's
[920.3-927.9] mixing and putting together various sophisticated combinations of sounds to help elicit different
[927.9-935.5] brainwave stay, and that's where the hemispheric synchronization comes from, talking about synchronizing
[935.5-939.7] the left and right hemispheres, and of course everyone perhaps by this time is aware of
[939.7-945.5] that model where it's a simplistic one, granted, but the left brain being more analytical and
[945.5-950.8] the right brain being more that would be sensitive and more musically inclined and
[950.8-956.0] so forth, you get those two working together and wow, you've really got access to something.
[956.0-960.0] So he thought, all right, let's take a whole-brained approach, and so that's why he was using binaural
[960.0-965.0] beats and other combinations of sounds to come up with hemispheric.
[965.0-971.0] As he got more sophisticated in the use of these and the research, which involved, again,
[971.0-976.0] using a group he called the Explorers, and I was one of the guinea plague explorers
[976.0-979.0] in the early days, how does this sound make you feel?
[979.0-984.0] Well, we went into these other states, and so getting higher and higher and higher
[985.0-990.0] where, for example, he would take you into the state between lifetimes, he would then go from there
[990.0-997.0] into the state, called it Focus 21, where you're bridging that area between physical and non-physical realms,
[997.0-1005.3] and then you keep going on more and more until then you get to the one that you just asked about,
[1005.3-1012.5] which we call Focus 27, and that's where it's kind of like an after area of life,
[1013.5-1019.5] if you will, where maybe people go after they have left their physical bodies,
[1019.5-1026.9] and where you consciously can take your, here we go again, your consciousness, your awareness,
[1026.9-1037.0] if there are any who need help in moving on.
[1037.0-1042.5] And so we actually have a program called Lifeline, where people get into these states
[1042.5-1048.6] and then help others realize that they can then move on to the state.
[1048.6-1051.9] They can then move on beyond that.
[1051.9-1057.9] And then there are other levels beyond that even, where you're talking about communicating
[1057.9-1063.1] with intelligences that are perhaps maybe haven't big.
[1063.1-1066.6] Oh, now we're talking.
[1066.6-1071.8] All right. So if you've ever read Bob's book, you know, he has this whole kind of
[1071.8-1076.8] cosmology put together because of his experiences, where he talks about these various locales
[1076.8-1083.8] and stuff. But, you know, it's very multi-dimensional exploration, let's put it that way.
[1083.8-1090.0] What people come back with, Heather, they say, my life has been changed.
[1090.0-1095.0] We hear this all the time from every program, starting with the gateway.
[1095.0-1098.0] You know, we're talking self-discovery here in a major way.
[1098.0-1103.0] They are getting an expanded view of themselves and understanding of who they are,
[1103.0-1105.0] perhaps what they came here to do.
[1105.0-1109.0] A lot of them encounter loved ones who have died.
[1109.0-1113.0] A lot of people come here because they're at a crossroads in their life, and they're going,
[1113.0-1118.0] I need to have a better understanding of which way to go.
[1118.0-1121.0] Of course, a lot of people come, too, because I want to have an out of body experience.
[1121.0-1123.0] You know, that would be cool.
[1123.0-1124.0] Oh, sure. Why not?
[1124.0-1125.0] Why not?
[1125.0-1130.0] But mainly, I think people are looking for deeper meaning,
[1130.0-1134.0] a greater connection to the all that is, if I may put it that way.
[1134.0-1135.0] Oh, sure.
[1135.0-1136.0] To themselves.
[1136.0-1138.0] In our culture, we don't have that.
[1138.0-1142.0] What we have is the tangible world, right?
[1142.0-1146.0] And everyone has a sense that there's more than that.
[1146.0-1148.0] Yeah, right. Exactly.
[1148.0-1149.0] You know, that's right.
[1149.0-1150.0] And how do you get to it?
[1150.0-1151.0] Exactly right.
[1151.0-1154.0] And so what's always intrigued me about the Monroe Institute is,
[1154.0-1157.0] here you've got Bob Monroe, who had these experiences,
[1157.0-1162.0] thought he was going crazy, found out, no, I'm not going crazy.
[1162.0-1164.0] This is a real phenomenon.
[1164.0-1168.0] So he founds an institute to learn.
[1168.0-1170.0] He has to explore it and bring other people in and say,
[1170.0-1172.0] hey, guys, let's all go explore it together.
[1172.0-1174.0] And what's beautiful about it now,
[1174.0-1177.0] there are places where you can go for the non-physical,
[1177.0-1181.0] and they're called churches or mosques or synagogues or whatever.
[1181.0-1183.0] And that's what he didn't want to do.
[1183.0-1188.0] He didn't want to put another overlay, another belief system on it.
[1188.0-1191.0] His whole thing was, look, I'm going to give you the tools.
[1191.0-1193.0] And that's what these focus levels are.
[1200.0-1208.1] to pass lives, because my own personal belief is that time is simultaneous as opposed to
[1208.1-1215.6] linear past, present and future. However one looks at it, you can go and explore these other
[1215.6-1228.5] lives or you can explore other parts of physical reality. If you learn the out-of-body techniques,
[1228.5-1234.3] let's say you want to see what old Aunt Mary is doing, is she okay? Then you can go do an
[1234.3-1241.6] out-of-body experience or perhaps remote viewing. That's a whole other topic. All of these of
[1241.6-1247.7] who we all are, it's just a question of learning how to access these states. That's what we
[1247.7-1253.0] do here and the difference is we don't put it in a religious term, you don't have to learn
[1253.0-1260.8] how to meditate using particular mantras, you don't have to have a particular religious
[1260.8-1267.8] belief. We've had I think every religious person walk through here and what I love about
[1267.8-1273.6] it is everybody. Well that's what I like. It doesn't matter if you're a Christian or a Jew
[1273.6-1280.0] or a Muslim or an atheist, it doesn't matter, it works. And you don't have to be born specially
[1280.0-1286.9] gifted, right? It's not elitist or exclusionary in any way and as I'm listening to you,
[1286.9-1294.6] what I hear is soul work. This is something that you probably know, Dr. Albert Taylor,
[1294.6-1301.1] who wrote Soul Traveler and we were having just an afternoon conversation one day and
[1301.1-1305.1] I was asking him about remote viewing. I said, well does remote viewing fit into all of
[1305.1-1311.7] this? And he said, oh it absolutely does. What the whole thing is, it's soul work.
[1311.7-1320.4] And that sounds like what this is here. This is your soul finding out exactly what it is,
[1320.4-1325.5] what is it doing here, what does it have to offer. And then going into these focus levels
[1325.5-1329.5] is almost like, I don't know, graduation levels or something like that.
[1329.5-1332.0] Oh I like that, yeah that's good.
[1332.0-1338.9] And then you come back with an understanding you would not have had without experiencing
[1338.9-1344.3] those focus levels. And what I really like is it's without drugs. You don't need to,
[1344.3-1345.3] you don't have to go to the shady.
[1345.3-1349.4] I love that label on that topic. In fact he didn't even like drinking and my mother did
[1349.4-1356.5] like her martini, thank you very much. Good southern lady and she liked it with two olives
[1356.5-1361.6] and dad would, Bob would just sit there and go, ahh. Because he didn't see the
[1361.6-1367.1] need for it plus the fact after this happened to him interestingly, he got, it was almost
[1367.1-1372.6] like an allergy. Because he used to be a drinker back in the old days, you know, he was a New
[1372.6-1375.8] Yorker, he was a, oh well that was the drink.
[1375.8-1381.6] Broadcasting, he was a hardcore businessman and then this stuff started happening to him
[1381.6-1385.9] in 1958, he was in his 40s and it got to the point he couldn't drink anymore, he'd
[1385.9-1390.5] break out in his sweat. But the whole thing was, and this is what he started teaching
[1390.5-1396.5] me at age 14, I love it. He had a tape recorder beside my bed with these funny sounds,
[1396.5-1401.5] he didn't call them hemisynch at the time, it was just those funny sounds to help me sleep better.
[1401.5-1408.1] And he had an affirmation on the tape and the affirmation was, I choose to know and understand
[1408.1-1415.3] myself to the extent that I can exercise complete control of myself. Now this is for a teenager,
[1415.3-1425.8] a 14 year old. Because he felt that alcohol to including, take away your ability to control
[1425.8-1430.3] this ability to focus your consciousness, of course it does.
[1430.3-1438.9] Interesting, well, very, very interesting. I like it because this is a method that is available to anyone.
[1438.9-1444.7] You don't have to have, there's no, how am I trying to say this? There's no barrier to entry.
[1444.7-1454.2] No, there isn't. There is no barrier and belief system, it doesn't, again, it doesn't matter what
[1454.2-1462.2] you believe. Even our dear friends who would object to the word soul, which by the way Bob
[1462.2-1466.5] would, Bob wouldn't use a lot of S words, he wouldn't use the word soul, he wouldn't use
[1466.5-1472.7] the word spiritual, which is kind of interesting. And my mother was like a Christian mystic.
[1472.7-1476.7] That was really interesting, you know, that was an interesting combination between...
[1476.7-1481.3] Oh, I bet you had some fascinating conversations over and over at your house.
[1481.5-1486.3] Oh, yes, indeed. But, oh gosh, I lost my rabbit.
